Our overhead crew made a trip over to the Tramway Heritage Centre at Bylands in May. The Centre has been the victim of a spate of vandalism and robberies which left the site unsuitable for visitors. The Centre has been operating at Bylands (between Wallan and Kilmore) since the 1970s, and houses the collection of the Tramway Museum Society of Victoria. This collection includes several Ballarat items, including the “Scrubber”, the Jelbart road roller and a couple of trams.
Our crews removed damaged overhead wire and made it safe.
